CHO Vacancy in Chhattisgarh 2020, The National Health Mission (NHM), and health department Chhattisgarh invites online applications for the post of Community Health Officers (CHOs) new batch July 2020.

Successful candidates shall be posted at Sub-Health Centers as CHOs to provide health care as a “Mid level health provider” and lead a primary health team consisting of frontline workers such as Female Health Workers (ANMs), Male Health Worker (MPWs) and ASHAs.

Sub Health Centre shall be allotted based on Merit Rank and NHM Chhattisgarh posting rules.

Educational Qualification:

GNM/ B.Sc Nursing/ PBB.Sc Nursing from a recognized university.Registered as Nurse or Nurse and Midwife with State Nursing Council in Chhattisgarh.

Desired Candidate Profile :

The candidate should be a native of Chhattisgarh.   Candidate should have knowledge of local language.   For district wise posts, only local residents of the districts falling under the respective district will be eligible, if local residents of the districts are not found, then candidates from other districts of the respective division will be selected on the basis of reservation.

Candidates must fill and submit the Online Application Form available on SAMS website, by or before midnight of September 24, 2020 at 11:59 pm.

Important to remember:

• Only online applications shall be considered valid.

• If at any stage of recruitment, it is found that candidate does not fulfil the eligibility and/ or s/he has furnished incorrect/ false information/ certificates/ documents or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/ her candidature will stand cancelled. The decision of the NHM, MP in any matter related to the recruitment, at any stage of the recruitment process, will be final and binding upon the candidates.

Selection Process:

• If admission is not taken in the training conducted by the candidate, it will be mandatory to submit the prescribed fee of 15000/- to the National Health Mission office for training by IGNOU.
• Download the PDF of the same and take a printout for future.

Posting (Location Allocation)

It will be mandatory for the examinee to provide at least 3 years of service in sub-health centers after completion of the examination on the basis of his / her contract.

Role & Responsibility:

Candidate shall be posted at Sub-Health Centers as CHOs to lead a primary health team consisting of frontline workers such as Female Health Workers (ANMs), Male Health Worker (MPWs) and ASHAs.

• To improved & implementation of public health programmes and to enable comprehensive primary health care service delivery, including disease prevention and health promotion.

Stipend, Salary and Performance Based Incentive?

After selection, candidate shall be appointed to CHO training (6 month) till passing the qualifying Exam and paid stipend @ Rs 10,000 per month.
